MYRTLE BEACH, SC , November 14, 2015– Cole Glasson took two in a row at Myrtle Beach Speedway on Saturday night when he sat on the Pole for the Southeast Super Truck race. The 15 year old would be the only driver to enter all three races in the first round of the Battle of the Beach.

Cole set the pole position by 1/10th over veteran racer Randy Porter and would lead the 25 truck field at the green flag with Porter at his side. Cole would lead the first 20 laps before sitting in P5 from laps 20-70 during a string of cautions. He would eventually start working his way up towards the front as Porter took off and the two would battle side by side for several laps before Cole took the point with 4 laps to go after lap traffic came in to play. Cole would win the race by just over one second and the first one to greet him after the win was Randy Porter who has taught the youngster a lot over the last two years.

Cole would finish the 2015 season off with two wins, two pole positions, 61 laps led, 10 top 5’s and 12 top 10’s in just 14 starts. In addition, he would come in 2nd in the 2015 Southeast Super Trucks Championship and also qualify in the top 5 for all 14 of those starts.
