January 18, 2013- Grand Rapids,
 – Andy Ponstein Racing and McCallister Precision
Marketing (MPM) announced today that Cole Glasson has been signed to a two year
driver development agreement to race the “00” Ford Fusion Late Model
in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance for the
2013 and 2014 race seasons.  After
completing the CRA Driver Approval Process for drivers under the age of 15,
Glasson could be the youngest competitor to ever take a green flag for a CRA
event when the season starts. Cole will begin testing immediately with the team
to prepare for the season opener on April 7, 2013, at Illiana Motor
Speedway. The series includes 13 races on 11 different tracks located in Michigan,
Indiana, and Ohio averaging 24-28 cars in each field.

“Cole is exactly the type of young, talented driver we like to provide
opportunities to in our driver development program,” said Andy Ponstein. “He
did an outstanding job with the test in December at Anderson Speedway, and the
entire crew was impressed with what they saw.” The 400+ horsepower late
model will require a change in driving style from what Glasson has been
accustomed to in the 185 horsepower Midget he drove in 2012. Cole has already
begun increased physical training in preparation for the 100 lap races he will
see in 2013.

In 2012, Glasson switched from a successful national karting campaign to
Ford Focus Midgets where he made eight starts in the USAC series and finished
in the top three in the last race of the season. “Cole has significant
experience and accomplishments for such a young age and is a pleasure to work
with,” said Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent and President of MPM
Marketing. “He is going to be a positive representative for companies on and
off the track, and we are looking forward to building some great

“I am excited about racing the late model, especially given its’ higher
horsepower and weight.  Andy
Ponstein and his team are known for their tenacity and commitment so I am
thrilled to be part of this exciting program,” said Glasson.
